Kimberly A. Decker graduated with her J.D. in May of 2008 and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar and of the Federal Bar for the District of Minnesota.
Kim graduated in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Psychology from Grove City College, a small liberal arts college in western Pennsylvania. From there, she pursued a career in college administration. In 2003, Kim graduated with a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College. An education law course Kim took for her Masters degree planted a seed that eventually took root at Northeastern University School of Law, in Boston.
During law school, Kim was active in the student government and in recruiting potential law students.
She interned with a Massachusetts Superior Court Judge, with the General Counsel’s Office at Northeastern University, and was a 2007 Rappaport Fellowship recipient which allowed her to study state tax policy with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
Kim joined the firm after having interned here while surviving her first Minnesota winter.
Kim is a runner and can often be found running around Northfield in the early morning. Kim’s husband, Jason, is a Philosophy professor at Carleton College.
